Juš Pogačar
Juš Pogačar currently manages the analytics and algorithmic trading department at Ngen.
He has 4 years of experience in the banking industry (particluarly credit risk management and modeling) and 5 years of experience in energy markets.
In energy trading he started off as 50% market analyst, 50% quant at GEN-I and finished by leading a team focused on evaluation of market analytics and a team responsible for quantitative solutions. Within the scope of his positions he also lead an initiative that aimed to enhance algo trading strategies.
By transitioning to Ngen he switched the focus form day-ahead and futures markets to the intraday and ancillary services markets. He established the analytics and algo trading team that focuses on monetization of portfolio flexibility and algortihmic strategy exectuion. He is involved in the day-to-day operations of Ngen’s assets in Slovenia and Austria.
