Maciej Szambelańczyk
A graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, and postgraduate studies in the area of European Business Law.
A head of the team specializing in providing legal advice to infrastructure companies in particular on energy law as well as rendering legal services to municipal entities. Has an extensive experience in restructuring, green field and brown field projects in the energy sector.
He represented one of industry associations in Parliamentary works on new Act on Renewable Energy and on the Offshore Act. Maciej is deeply involved in the development of renewable energy sources in Poland and receives praise for his capability in regulatory matters. Maciej authored numerous publications on Energy Law (with focus on renewables). Co-author and editor of the commentary on the Act on Renewable Energy, published by Wolters Kluwer in 2016. Maciej was recommended in Chambers & Partners’ highly recognized worldwide guide “Chambers Europe”, in the Energy&Natural Resources category (years 2013-2023).
