Energy Storage Lead DTEK
Vadym Utkin is the Energy Storage Lead for the DTEK Group. With a strong engineering background and more than ten years of experience in energy storage, Vadym has successfully deployed the first grid-scale battery energy storage in Ukraine and led various DTEK storage projects with a total capacity of over 200 MW. He is well versed in electricity market design, electricity trading and electrochemical energy storage. Vadym lives in Kyiv and in his spare time enjoys reading sci-fi, wrestling and plays Go.
