Sviatoslav Sakhno

Sviatoslav Sakhno, 30 years old. Working for the Ukrainian state TSO NPC «UKRENERGO» for about 7 years. Currently hold the position of BM&ASM functioning expert in the Market Operations Directorate. Participated in the development and launch of the new Electricity Market model in Ukraine, and am presently ensuring the functioning of the BM&ASM segments and related mechanisms, including recent Special AS auctions. I am directly involved in the BM&ASM auctioning process, while my other typical tasks revolve around interaction with market participants and authorities, developing new market mechanisms, legislation drafting, EU aquis transposition, and, over the last few years, interaction with potential investors.
