Goran Djukanovic
Goran is an experienced metals and energy markets analyst and consultant (23 years), currently employed at Elektroprivreda Crne Gore AD Niksic (EPCG). He is leading a team at EPCG for instalation battery storage facility, the first one in Montenegro.
He has education both in mechanical engineering (dipl.ing) and economics (actuary, postgraduate) of Univeristy of Montenegro.
Goran started his professional career designing parts and equipment for the transport industry before joining Kombinat Aluminijuma Podgorica (KAP) in 1997 as the Chief Design Engineer, prior to market analyst career started in 2001.
After leaving KAP in december 2007 he continued to work as independent aluminium and energy market analyst and consultant, while his engagement included: adviser to KAP’s CEO, a consultant /adviser for industry for Ministry of Economy and Central Bank of Montenegro. His engagements also included a columnist for British magazine Aluminium Times and author /expert for Aluminium Insider I-portal, author /contributor for German International Aluminium Journal, and US Light Metal Age.
Mr Djukanovic participated as a spekaer on some world leading conferences, multiple times, including Metal Bulletin, Fastmarkets, Aluminium Dusseldorf, Arabal, Advisian Pet Coke.
