As Investment Director, Energy Storage at Taaleri Energia, Ville originates and leads Energy Storage transactions, supports on fundraising and implements Taaleri Energia’s energy storage investment strategy.

Previously, As Director, Growth & Development and Business Support, Wärtsilä Energy, Ville led a team of 300 energy experts responsible for strategy implementation, market & project development, services agreements sales and digital solutions in Europe and Africa. Ville was accountable for over 150MEUR annual sales, which I managed to grow annually.

Earlier at Wärtsilä, Ville worked as a business development professional. Ville achieved a track record in sales that exceeded 130 MEUR, including several energy storage (BESS) projects. One major success in which Ville was in lead was an energy storage project delivered to South-East Asia. The project modernized an entire nation’s power system, resulting in a reliable and low-cost supply of electricity to millions of people.
